What’s the benefit of a digital plate over a real one? A real plate is just a stamped piece of metal . . . . can’t really see any reason that needs to be innovated upon.

You put an Isuzu diesel in that and then you can be in heaven. My flathead 6 is rebuilt in my old slow truck and should be pretty reliable.

Well it had no US plates and it had a mismatched tire. I suspect they imported it and haven’t done anything with it yet.

Few vehicles are inherently unreliable. Most are just poorly maintained. Of course, the maintenance schedule may be predicated by the mysterious quirks of the vehicle rather than the one predicted by the company that made it. But it’s still the owners problem to figure out which combination of the two is the right one...
